The small asteroid was discovered on Aug. 7 by the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS), a NASA-funded program. Now named asteroid 2024 PT5, it will be captured in Earth’s gravitational pull between Sept. 29 and Nov. 25. After that, it will escape Earth’s orbit and be pulled toward the sun before continuing its travels around our solar system.

When an asteroid hits the earth it causes the atmosphere to change. Dust and particles of debris from the collision find their way into the upper atmosphere and have the effect of blocking the sun’s rays. Insolation is reduced and the climate cools because energy from the sun is reflected back into space. Since the 60’s scientists were settled that we were cooling and in the 80’s it was settled at warming. Now, it just changes. 

The elite have been trying to use climate change to tax us for quite some time. All of the damage that they have been causing hasn’t made enough impact to bring the world together under one accord to fight something. Wars are not profitable anymore and the elite are running out of a boogieman. If an astroid does hit earth, they will have the means to declare yet another emergency like covid. To stop the world in its tracks and focus on bringing everyone together to fight a cause with money. 

They have the ability to take this astroid and hurl it towards earth. The excuse would be it was supposed to orbit and then leave, but it will change course and hit earth. They even admit in the article about the orbiting asteriod that at times, the gravitational pull of neighboring planets can bring asteroids into Earth’s orbit. These small objects, such as 2024 PT5, are called Near-Earth Objects, or NEOs, according to NASA. The Center for Near Earth Object Studies (CNEOS) at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) estimates that there are more than 35,000 NEOs, and 99% of NEOs are made up of asteroids. 

This one is 33 feet in diameter which is a masonic number. If this hits earth, according to Earhtly Universe, Going a little further back, you might remember the Chelyabinsk meteor in Russia on February 15, 2013. Travelling 42,900 miles per hour (69,000 kph) and being 60 feet in diameter (20 m), it exploded at an altitude of 18.5 miles (30 km). Fortunately, the atmosphere absorbed most of the energy, which was some 30 times greater than that unleashed by the Hiroshima atomic bomb. Nonetheless, it was enough to send a powerful shockwave all the way to the ground, causing $33 million worth of damage and injuring some 1,500 people. The impact was completely unexpected.

It’s time to stop just worrying about climate change, says Paul. We need instead to brace for impact because global crisis is no longer avoidable. In the aftermath of the Great Disruption, we will measure “growth” in a new way. It will mean not quantity of stuff but quality and happiness of life. Yes, there is life after shopping.
